आज किस्सा कुछ ऐसा हुआ ...

आज किस्सा कुछ ऐसा हुआ, किसी अपने से ही झगडा हुआ
रूठी रूठी सी नींद है प्यारी, पर बात उसने भी थी न मानी हमारी
खयालो में था जिसके मैं, कहा उसको भुला दो,
"बसा लो मुझे नैनो मैं, ख्वाबों मैं मुझे भी तो मिला दो"
कहा मैंने पलट कर "ख्वाबो का क्या भरोसा
कभी आते हैं कभी जाते हैं,
बहुत मुश्किल से ख्याल आया है उनका
दिन भर मशरूफ रहते हैं हम,
उनके बारे में कहाँ सोच पाते हैं"
"फ़िक्र है तुम्हे उस बेवफा का, जो इतराते हैं ख्याल में आने से,
भूला दिया मुझे तुमने जो साथ है तुम्हारे ज़माने से"
"ख्वाबो से ज़यादा बेरहम तो ख्याल होते हैं,
छूते नहीं है वो जिगर को, न नैनो मैं बसते हैं
मेहमान हैं वो पल दो पल के, आयेंगे और बेरहमी से चले जायेंगे ,
वो तो बस ख्वाब ही हैं जो दिल-ओ-दिमाग मैं बस जायेंगे "
मुश्किल था नींद से इस कदर जीत पाना, हमने भी मसला निपटा डाला,
कर दिया ख़ुद को कायल ख्वाबो के, होश अपना खो डाला
कुर्बान हैं जन्नतें हजारो उस एक ख्वाब के बदले,
जिसे देखे बिना जिगर ये तडपे
"ए नींद अब धोखा देके तू न चली जाना,
वादा किया था उन्होंने ख्वाबो मैं आने का,
बेवफा नहीं हैं वो, इस बात का ईमान रख जाना"

LOST - Destiny Calls

Many of us are waiting for the new season of Lost. The promo videos suggest that it is going to be legen ..... wait for it .... dary

10 things I learnt on my first 20 KM ride.

1. Racing cycles are not meant for Delhi roads.
2. Singing songs like "Samundar mein naha ke, tum aur bhi ..." in your loudest possible voice is fun.
3. Dogs can go faster than bikes (Specially when pissed-off while trying to piss, by a biker singing loudly.)
4. Whistling is different from honking. Use a "ringer", "horn" to alert people. Whistling can be mistaken for something else.
5. Racing cycle's saddle is not meant for sitting. Its just for the looks... (aaaahhhh)
6. Never shout "allah-hu-akbar" in front of a temple.
7. Hand air pump provided along with racing cycles is a useless piece of plastic. I can be better used as a ***** than an air pump.
8. Water bottle fitted into a bike is meant to be filled with water and not coins. Coins can buy water but only if its available.
9. Defence Colony Market is heaven :)
10. Cycling is fun !!!
